Ramadan Food Pack (Iftar) Distribution Programme
During the blessed month of Ramadan, when compassion, generosity, and unity are at the heart of our faith, many vulnerable families still struggle to secure even a single meal to break their fast. For them, Iftar is not a moment of comfort—but a moment of uncertainty.
Through the Ramadan Food Pack (Iftar) Distribution Programme, Al Tazid Foundation reaches out to these families with dignity and care, providing essential food packs that sustain them throughout the month. Each pack is thoughtfully prepared to ensure that families can break their fast with nourishment, peace of mind, and a sense of belonging.
Hundreds of families benefit from this initiative every Ramadan—transforming what could be days of hardship into moments of relief, gratitude, and hope. Beyond the food itself, this project delivers something far greater: the reassurance that they are not forgotten.
This programme is not just about feeding the hungry—it is about restoring dignity, strengthening communities, and embodying the true spirit of Ramadan through compassion in action.
Iftar Distribution to Rickshaw Pullers & Pedestrians
During the sacred month of Ramadan, as the time of Iftar approaches, countless rickshaw pullers and pedestrians remain on the streets—far from their families—continuing their daily struggle to earn a livelihood. For many, the choice is not between comfort and hardship, but between working longer hours or going without.
The Foundation reaches out to these individuals across multiple districts and towns, delivering Iftar directly into their hands—at the very moment they need it most. After enduring long, exhausting days under the sun, navigating busy roads and carrying the weight of responsibility for their families, they are able to break their fast with dignity, relief, and gratitude.
Each Iftar provided is more than just a meal—it is a moment of compassion that acknowledges their resilience, honours their hard work and reminds them that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
Through this initiative, the Foundation not only nourishes the body but uplifts the spirit—bringing comfort to those who spend their days serving others, and ensuring that even on the busiest streets, no one is left to break their fast alone.
