CASE STUDIES
BENEFICIARY 1
This lady, aged 65, is from Abdullahpur village. Due to severe visual impairment, she struggled to carry out even the most basic day-to-day tasks, significantly affecting her independence and quality of life. Seeking help, she approached Al-Tazid Foundation and, in February 2026, was invited to attend our eye clinic, where she underwent a cataract procedure free of charge.
The Difference We Made
Following the procedure, her life has been transformed. She is now able to see clearly and carry out daily activities independently. Most importantly, she experienced the emotional joy of seeing her grandchildren clearly for the first time. This intervention has restored not only her vision but also her dignity, confidence, and renewed sense of purpose.
BENEFICIARY 2
This beneficiary lives in Hatgram, Guaingat, in a locality where access to clean water was non-existent. Around ten families relied solely on contaminated pond water for drinking, cooking, and washing. This posed serious health risks and caused ongoing hardship for both adults and children in the community.
The Difference We Made
After assessing the situation, Al-Tazid Foundation installed a deep tube well, providing a reliable source of clean and safe drinking water. Today, families in the area can access water for daily use without fear of contamination. This has significantly reduced waterborne illnesses and improved overall health, bringing relief, safety, and dignity to the entire community.
BENEFICIARY 3
This beneficiary was a bright and determined student from a financially struggling family. Despite his strong academic potential, his family could not afford the cost of education, placing his future at serious risk.
The Difference We Made
With the support of Al-Tazid Foundation, he was able to continue his education uninterrupted. He successfully completed his primary and secondary studies, achieved strong results in his Matriculation, and went on to complete his Intermediate of Arts (IA) and a BA degree. Today, he proudly serves in the Bangladesh Army as a Border Guard, supporting his family and contributing to his country. This transformation reflects the power of education when opportunity meets support.
BENEFICIARY 4
This beneficiary lived with his family of seven in a single-room mud-built hut. The structure was severely damaged, with a leaking roof, no proper doors or windows, and extremely poor living conditions. The growing family lacked both safety and privacy.
The Difference We Made
Al-Tazid Foundation provided the family with a newly constructed, durable home consisting of three rooms, a separate kitchen, washroom, and verandah, along with secure steel doors and windows. This intervention has dramatically improved their living conditions, providing safety, dignity, and a sense of stability. The family expressed deep gratitude, describing it as a life-changing transformation.
BENEFICIARY 5
This beneficiary, a father of three, struggled to earn a sufficient income to support his family. Determined to avoid dependency on aid, he approached Al-Tazid Foundation seeking an opportunity to earn a sustainable livelihood.
The Difference We Made
The Foundation provided him with a rickshaw, enabling him to work consistently and earn a stable income. He now works long hours to support his family’s basic needs and has
even opened a bank account to begin saving for the future. This support has empowered him to live with dignity and independence, transforming both his life and that of his family.
BENEFICIARY 6
This beneficiary became permanently disabled after both of his legs were amputated due to infection. Confined to bed, he was unable to work or participate in family or social life, leading to severe emotional distress, anxiety, and isolation.
The Difference We Made
Al-Tazid Foundation provided a specially adapted wheelchair, restoring his mobility and independence. He is now able to engage with his family, attend social activities, and even work part-time. This intervention has not only improved his physical condition but has also restored his confidence, mental well- being, and sense of belonging in society.
Conclusion
Every project, every initiative, and every life touched by Al-Tazid Foundation reflects a simple but powerful belief:
No one should be left behind.
Through compassion, dedication, and community support, the Foundation continues to transform lives — bringing hope where there was despair, dignity where there was hardship, and opportunity where there was none.
